Academic Advising and Resources for Undergraduates
The Office of Undergraduate Business Programs, located in Olmsted Hall 2340, houses the offices of the assistant dean and the undergraduate academic advisors. All students entering either the pre-business (CHASS) or business administration major (SoBA) are advised by the undergraduate academic advisors. Our advisors work with students from the time they enter the upper division program through graduation.
The office manages the following areas for undergraduate business majors:
- Department and college approvals for major-changes.
- Petitions.
- Articulation.
- Transfer courses.
- Readmission decisions.
- Preliminary and final degree checks.
Advising Staff
- Meet our dedicated advising staff.
Online Course Request (OCR)
- Add a business class by filling out an online course request.
Application for Graduation (AFG)
- Apply to graduate by filling out an application for graduation.
Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday to Friday
10 a.m.–noon, Monday and Tuesday
2–4 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday
For first week of every quarter: 9 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Business Prep Students and Students from Other Majors: To apply for the School of Business Administration, attend a Business Application Workshop conducted by the Undergraduate Business Programs Office.
