During his visit, Unisco Holdings CEO James Lin guest-lectured to MBA students.

Dean Yunzeng Wang with James Lin.James Lin, CEO of Unisco Holdings, visited UC Riverside on June 7 to meet with executive management at the business school and speak with MBA students about his work.

Lin guest-lectured two sections of the Management 207 course, "Operations Management for Competitive Advantage," taught by Assistant Professor of Management Science Long Gao. He then toured the UCR campus with Interim Dean Yunzeng Wang.

With a decade of experience in logistics and supply chain management, Lin has led Unisco's emergence as one of the country's largest logistics providers to the Asia-America electronics market. He has worked with dozens of middle market and publicly held companies like Walmart, Costco, Best Buy, Sony, HP and Vizio.

He has built and sold numerous startups including Digizone Entertainment, Image Media Group and Rock A Hoola Waterpark. Before Unisco, he was also involved in a handful of mergers and acquisitions like the purchase of CB Trucking, Fireball Logistics, Atomic Box Logistics, Edwards Services, CBS Express, Kangaroo Transport and Lava SCS.

Dean Wang said, "We are grateful for Mr. Lin's generosity in taking the time to speak about his work and experiences. Lectures by seasoned business professionals like him are invaluable to our students at the UCR business school. We hope to keep the lines of communication open and have him back in the future."
