The Undergraduate School of Business Student Ambassador Program
The Student Ambassador Program offers a great opportunity for undergraduate students to represent the business school to internal and external constituents. Each academic year a group of 15–20 undergraduate students will be selected for the program. Students selected to be ambassadors will develop skills in:
- Leadership
- Group dynamics
- Public speaking
- Communication
In addition, ambassadors will have the opportunity to meet, interact and network with:
- Students
- The Dean of the School of Business
- Faculty
- Administrators
- Industry leaders
- Community members
Advantages and perks for student ambassadors include:
- Priority registration
- Special recognition during commencement
- Growing of their resume
- Strengthening their chances of receiving a letter of recommendation

Applications are due December 1 for spring admission and March 1 for fall admission.
Qualifications
- Must be a pre-business, business preparation or business administration major.
- Must have a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
- Must have attended UCR for at least one quarter or completed a minimum of 12 units prior to applying.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum three quarter commitment to the Student Ambassador Program.
- Commit to at least 3 events each quarter, which includes weekends and weeknights, on and off campus.
