Career Center


The UCR Career Center is a safe and welcoming place to explore career paths or hone in on your dream career and the steps to achieve it. By acquainting yourself with the wide variety of services the Center provides, you can maximize both your career search time and your world-class UC Riverside education.

The Career Center provides valuable resources to current students, including career planning, drop-in counseling, a career resource room, job search assistance, internships, and graduate/professional school application assistance.

The Undergraduate Business Programs Office and Career Center have established a Professional Development Partnership, which provides Business Administration students an organized program of events and services designed to help you explore career opportunities and develop professional skills.

Career Counseling

Whether it's a quick review of your resume, or an in-depth discussion about your professional goals, you can get all your individual career questions answered conveniently in 2340 Olmsted Hall on Wednesdays from 2-4pm. For additional individual career counseling information, visit the Career Center site here.

Customized Workshops

The Career Center hosts skill‐development and job search workshops specifically for business students each quarter, including resume writing, searching for internships, and building professional networks. A sample of some workshops available in past years included: "Job Search Skills," "Thoughts from a Fortune 100 Corporate Recruiter," "Advanced Resume Writing," "Conversation and Interview Skills," "Succeeding in the Multigenerational Workforce," "Making Professional Connections," and "Internships: What, Why & How." To view upcoming workshops, visit the Career Center site here.

Employer Networking

Each quarter, you will have the opportunity to interact with select employers through on‐campus chats and off-campus corporate tours, where you can learn more about specific industries and explore internships and job opportunities. To view upcoming employer networking events, click here.

Industry Panels

Professionals from different industries will be on campus to speak about their job responsibilities, their companies, and how college students can best prepare to enter their respective fields.
